Client-facing consulting actuary

Closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house reserving cycle role because project leadership, selling, and client meetings are explicit.

Senior Manager consulting actuary role in Atlanta, focused on P&C reserving for self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers. You will lead client projects, validate actuarial deliverables, present recommendations, support business development, and manage and mentor staff. The role is hybrid and may also be based from Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, or elsewhere in the southern/eastern US.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients
  • Expertise in reserving
  • Well versed in pricing/ratemaking, predictive modeling, economic capital modeling, and loyalty rewards programs
  • Demonstrated success in business development, selling, and client interaction
  • ACAS or FCAS designation
  • Strong experience in leadership and employee management
  • Demonstrated superior communication and client engagement skills
