You will price and structure reinsurance treaties across GL, Auto, Umbrella, WC, Property and Professional lines, develop pricing tools, and partner closely with underwriting, claims and finance. Senior role requiring strong actuarial modeling skills and Excel proficiency.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Director role pricing North American P&C reinsurance treaties across multiple lines
- Structure treaty terms and ensure profitability for quota share, XL, aggregate and structured deals
- Develop and enhance pricing tools and actuarial models; strong Excel required
- Frequent collaboration with underwriting, claims and finance; presentations to senior management
- Hybrid role based in Morristown, NJ; some travel and overtime expected
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- pricing reinsurance treaties (quota share, excess of loss, aggregate)
- structuring treaty terms to ensure profitability
- LOB studies and assumption/parameter updates
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS, ACAS or near-completion actuarial designation required (or equivalent)
- 8+ years of applicable actuarial experience
- Strong knowledge of pricing and actuarial modeling techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to build pricing tools
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
