Role type

Actuarial risk and portfolio strategy leader

Closer to a capital and risk strategy role than a pure pricing partner because the remit spans reserving, portfolio risk, governance, and enterprise decisions.

Director-level P&C actuarial role based remotely from an approved U.S. state, including South Carolina. You will serve as the lead actuarial expert for vehicle protection and insurance-adjacent products, owning pricing, reserving, portfolio risk, and actuarial governance while partnering with business leaders.

Requirements

Must have

  • ASA, ACAS, or equivalent actuarial credential
  • Must reside in one of the approved states: AZ, CO, GA, LA, MI, NC, NY, OH, SC, TN, or TX

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • Progressive actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, and portfolio risk assessment
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills
  • Track record of influencing decisions and leading cross-functional initiatives

Nice to have

  • Fellowship progression (FSA/FCAS) preferred
  • F&I, vehicle protection, warranty administration, GAP, or P&C insurance experience
  • Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R experience
