Remote P&C actuarial associate role based in Jersey City, New Jersey, supporting Farmowners commercial property products. You’ll work on ratemaking, loss cost reviews, pricing innovation, product enhancements, regulatory filings, and customer-facing analysis within Verisk’s Businessowners Actuarial Product team.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related majors
ACAS designation
5+ years of P&C actuarial experience
Property and/or pricing experience
Familiarity with Farmowners insurance or similar coverages
Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, work independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Knowledge of market, industry, customer, and competitor trends
Nice to have
Familiarity with predictive analytics modeling
Strong computing skills in SAS, SQL, Python, Access, and Excel
