Closer to capital and enterprise risk strategy than a pure pricing or reserving role, because independent oversight spans liabilities, ALM, capital and strategic transactions.
Senior actuarial and financial risk role in New York focused on life insurance and annuity liabilities. You will independently review pricing, assumptions, reserving, cash flow testing, ALM, capital requirements, and strategic transactions, then present actionable findings to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years actuarial and/or quantitative risk management experience
- Experience with insurance/annuity pricing, assumptions, reserving or cash flow testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to distill findings concisely
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
