Senior Health actuarial consulting lead role in Washington, DC, focused on Medicaid capitation rate-setting for government healthcare clients. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee assumptions and actuarial models, advise clients on complex programs, and sign rate certifications. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years minimum health actuarial experience
  • 5+ years of Medicaid actuarial experience
  • Actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, MAAA)
  • Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams and large, complex projects

Nice to have

  • Medicaid actuarial experience spanning multiple states, programs, health insurers, or Federal agencies and actuarial consulting experience
  • Ability to handle client and project management in a demanding work environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience related to health plan analysis or capitated rate development
