Role type

Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to an underwriting partner than a modelling-heavy IC because live case pricing and underwriter support sit alongside model development.

Executive P&C pricing leadership role in New York or Miami, with a hybrid model, at a global reinsurer. You will oversee technical pricing for US and Latin American reinsurance treaties, support underwriters with case pricing, improve pricing models, and manage actuarial team members across three offices.

Requirements

Must have

  • ACAS designation
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Strongly preferred

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive reinsurance pricing experience
  • Experience managing actuarial team members
  • Strong knowledge of US Casualty market and pricing practices
  • Experience with Latin American/non-US reinsurance markets
  • FCAS designation
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Nice to have

  • Communication skills in Spanish
  • Strong IT skills (MS Excel, VBA, SQL)
  • Knowledge of programming languages (R, Python)
