Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role in Deloitte's Insights, Innovation & Operate practice, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will advise payer and provider clients on pricing, product strategy, value-based care, predictive modelling, and financial performance while leading teams and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders. The role requires 10+ years of health actuarial experience, ASA progression toward FSA or FSA, and approximately 50% travel.

Requirements

Must have

Bachelor's degree
10+ years of health actuarial experience
ASA with progression to FSA or FSA designation (or career ASA)
Ability to travel 50% on average

Strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
Ability to lead projects or workstreams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others

Nice to have

8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
6+ years of experience leading teams
6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
6+ years of experience with reimbursement models including value-based care or ACO modeling
6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform (individual medical, small group, or Medicaid)
