Actuarial transformation and process build

Closer to a transformation-build role than a pure valuation-cycle seat because process redesign, data solutions, and automation are the deciding features.

Senior Life actuarial valuation and process-improvement role in Radnor, Pennsylvania, with alternate locations in Charlotte, Fort Wayne, Greensboro, Hartford, and Omaha. You’ll support GAAP, Stat, Tax, PBR, and LDTI valuation processes while improving reporting controls, data solutions, and automation for the Life Production Valuation team. The hybrid arrangement requires three office days per week.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • FSA designation or ASA designation with additional years of actuarial experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or Data Analytics or other quantitative major
  • 5-7+ years of experience that aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Strong SQL Server skills

Nice to have

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
  • Curiosity and demonstrated capability to quickly learn new concepts
  • Self-starter, innovative, problem solver
  • Experience with Dataiku, Tableau, SAS, Python, MSAccess, MSExcel, ALFA/Integrate
