Closer to a live-business partner than a modelling-heavy IC because external reinsurer relationships and solution decisions are central to the role.

Senior Life actuary role on Lincoln Financial’s Life Reinsurance team, based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, with alternate office locations. You’ll structure and analyze traditional and complex reinsurance solutions, support Life product development, maintain analytics, and advise senior management while partnering with reinsurers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

  • 5-7+ years of experience in actuarial science directly aligned with the responsibilities above
  • Actuarial credentials (FSA or ASA with additional years of experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of comparable work experience
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel VBA
  • Life product knowledge and reinsurance business knowledge

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python, Tableau, Dataiku and Oracle SQL databases
  • Familiarity with reinsurance-related regulatory, reserving and capital frameworks
