Lead P&C actuarial role in Chicago focused on multi-line rate, rule, and form filings, including regulatory strategy, objections, and implementation. As an FCAS, you will sign filings, build rating plans from scratch, work with actuarial and engineering partners, and help establish the actuarial function you will eventually lead.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
Passed Exam 6 (United States)
At least three years of actuarial work experience
Qualified under the US Qualification Standards to issue actuarial opinions
Nice to have
Authored and submitted filings through SERFF
Understand how DOI actuarial reviewers evaluate filings
DOI work spans personal lines and bureau-referenced commercial lines
Supported predictive-model-based filings through actuarial objections
Three or more reviewed years of P&C reserving work
