Closer to a live-business pricing partner than a modelling-heavy IC because client, Sales, Underwriting, and executive decisions shape the work.
Remote Lead Actuary role in Prime Therapeutics’ Health actuarial team, focused on pharmacy pricing and rebate guarantees. You’ll lead complex pricing analyses, advise on formulary and rebate structures, present recommendations to clients and senior leaders, and mentor junior actuaries. The role requires an ASA or FSA and 8 years of actuarial experience, including 6 in healthcare or PBM work.
Requirements
Must have
- HS diploma or GED
- 8 years actuarial experience, including 6 years in healthcare or PBM
- ASA or FSA actuarial designation
- Eligible to work in US without visa/residency sponsorship
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Finance or equivalent combination
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, VBA, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work through ambiguity
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and meet tight timelines
- Clear professional written and verbal communication skills
- Effective client-facing and executive presentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience pricing Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid pharmacy benefits
- Demonstrated experience leading complex pricing or rebate-related initiatives
- Prior client-facing experience supporting executive-level discussions
