Requirements

Must have

Trained actuary with deep experience in insurance pricing, portfolio management, specialty insurance, or reinsurance
Have built pricing models from scratch, particularly for new products, emerging risks, specialty classes, or areas with limited historical loss data
Understand frequency and severity modeling, dependency, correlation, and tail risk
Have managed accumulation, concentration risk, exposure limits and portfolio caps, and worked extensively with realistic disaster scenarios and portfolio-level loss modeling
Comfortable applying actuarial judgment to highly uncertain risks created by rapidly evolving technologies
