Closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house pricing role because ongoing client ownership and executive presentations are explicit.

Manager/Senior Manager Life actuarial consulting role focused on individual annuities in Boston and other US offices. You’ll lead analyses across product development, pricing, hedging, valuation and risk management, while managing client communication, executive presentations and junior staff development. The hybrid pattern generally requires at least three days per week in an office or with clients.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with annuity products

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field
Advanced degree or professional certification (FSA, MAAA)
Hands-on involvement in pricing, product development, and/or inforce management
ASA or FSA credential
Knowledge of annuity market landscape, key players, trends, and regulatory changes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated capability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective organizational skills with focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines

Nice to have

Knowledge in financial modeling systems (AXIS, Prophet) or scripting languages (R, Python)
