Life actuarial consulting role in New York for a Manager/Senior Manager specializing in individual annuities. You’ll lead complex work across product development, pricing, hedging, valuation, and risk management while advising clients and presenting to senior stakeholders. The hybrid role expects at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with annuity products

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field
Hands-on involvement in annuity pricing, product development, and/or inforce management
Knowledge of the annuity market landscape, including key players, trends, and regulatory changes
Solid foundation in annuity product development, pricing strategies, regulatory compliance, hedging, and risk management
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated capability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams with minimal oversight
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective organizational skills with focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., FSA, MAAA)
ASA or FSA credential
Knowledge of financial modeling systems or scripting languages (AXIS, Prophet, R, Python)
