Closer to client-facing consulting than an insurer-side pricing role, because success depends on external delivery, executive presentations, and building an industry network.

Senior Life actuarial consulting role focused on individual annuities, based in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule. You’ll lead product development, pricing, valuation, hedging, and risk analyses, manage client relationships and teams, and present recommendations to executives. The role seeks at least five years of annuity experience; ASA or FSA is preferred.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum 5 years of annuity product experience

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field
Advanced degree or professional certification (FSA, MAAA) preferred
ASA or FSA credential preferred
Knowledge of annuity market landscape, product development, and regulatory changes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated capability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective organizational skills with focus on results and deadlines

Nice to have

Knowledge of financial modeling systems (AXIS, Prophet) or scripting languages (R, Python)
