Senior Manager-level Health actuarial consulting role focused on Medicare Advantage in Tampa, with hybrid work requiring at least three days per week in a local office or onsite with clients. You will lead bid development, pricing, product analysis, claims studies, and advisory projects for insurers and provider health systems, while managing workstreams and developing team members.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's or master's degree required
- ASA or FSA credentials required
Strongly preferred
- 7+ years of actuarial experience in the Medicare Advantage industry
- Ability to manage medium-to-large scale projects with minimal supervision
- Track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Understanding of collaboration and ability to work in a team setting
- Deep critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
- Strong skills with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, VBA or other programming languages
Nice to have
- Actuarial consulting experience preferred
- Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
