Closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house pricing partner because the work spans multiple client projects and payer-provider decisions.

Senior Manager-level Health actuarial consulting role in Medicare Advantage, based in Milwaukee with a hybrid schedule. You will lead and certify bids, support product and pricing work, analyze claims and risk arrangements, and manage client project workstreams for insurers and provider health systems.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's or master's degree required
  • ASA or FSA credential required

Strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience in Medicare Advantage industry
  • Manage medium-to-large scale projects/workstreams with minimal Principal involvement
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, VBA or other programming languages
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
  • Highly motivated and willing to work in a dynamic environment
  • Work in local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week
  • Track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth

Nice to have

  • Actuarial consulting experience
  • Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
