Closer to client-facing consulting than a carrier specialist role because the work spans multiple insurers and provider systems rather than one portfolio.

Senior Manager Health actuarial consulting role focused on Medicare Advantage in Philadelphia, with hybrid work and at least three days per week in the office or with clients. You will lead bids, pricing, product analysis, claims studies, and strategic projects while managing workstreams and developing team members.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's or master's degree required, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
  • ASA or FSA credentials

Strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience in the Medicare Advantage industry
  • Ability to manage medium-to-large scale projects with minimal Principal involvement
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Deep critical-thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, VBA or other programming languages
