Entry-level Life actuarial analyst role in Oliver Wyman’s Chicago Life Practice. You’ll support pricing, valuation, projections, product development, assumption work, and model transformation across life, annuity, and long-term care projects for consulting clients. The role offers a $65,000-$110,000 base salary and hybrid working with at least three days in the office each week.

Requirements

Must have

  • At least 1 actuarial exam passed
  • Permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship)

Strongly preferred

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently

Nice to have

  • Excel proficiency and familiarity with R, Python, SQL, SAS, or VBA
  • Relevant experience in life insurance or actuarial work
