Closer to multi-client advisory work than a reserving cycle role—the deciding factor is the varied consulting project portfolio and eventual client interaction.

Manager-level Health actuarial consulting role in Atlanta, Georgia, covering valuation and reserving, ERM, capital, M&A, regulatory support, and related health practice work. You will contribute to varied client projects involving insurers, healthcare systems, regulators, employers, and private equity firms, with eventual client interaction. The hybrid pattern requires working in the local office or with clients at least three days per week.

Requirements

Must have

Strong skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
Significant progress with actuarial exams, ASA/FSA preferred
5+ years of actuarial experience in the actuarial field, preferably in the health insurance market or healthcare provider market
Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Project management skills
Track record of and desire for rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build strong relationships
Excellent time management skills
Understanding of the value of collaboration and ability to work effectively in a team
Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
Highly motivated individual and willingness to work in a dynamic environment

R, SAS, SQL, VBA, or other programming language experience
