Senior Manager-level Health actuarial consulting role focused on Medicare Advantage in San Francisco, with hybrid work across Oliver Wyman’s listed US offices. You’ll lead and certify bids, develop products and pricing analyses, evaluate provider arrangements, and manage complex client workstreams while supporting team development.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
  • ASA or FSA credential

Strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience in the Medicare Advantage industry
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight on complex projects
  • Track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of collaboration and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
  • Highly motivated and willing to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, VBA or other programming languages

Nice to have

  • Preference for actuarial consulting experience
