Pensions actuarial consulting role for a nationwide team, with Edinburgh listed as the location and hybrid attendance expected. You will advise trustees and corporates on UK defined benefit schemes, lead client work, review calculations, and help shape funding, investment, risk transfer, and covenant solutions.

Requirements

Must have

Fully qualified actuary or nearing qualification

Strongly preferred

Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical, numerical, and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage projects, including distribution of work to junior colleagues
Good understanding of UK pension scheme operations

Nice to have

Significant experience working with trustees and/or corporates on DB pensions within an actuarial consultancy role
Demonstrated business acumen and desire to be in front of clients
