Director-level P&C actuarial consulting role in Chicago, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office or onsite with clients. You will lead complex multi-line engagements across reserving, pricing, predictive analytics, and economic capital, while managing senior client relationships, business development, and team leadership. The base salary is $180,000-$250,000 plus potential performance incentives.
Requirements
Must have
BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
ACAS or FCAS credential required
10+ years of actuarial consulting or insurance industry experience within Property & Casualty
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading complex engagements
Proven business development experience, including generating new opportunities and expanding client relationships
Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a client-oriented mindset
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or advanced analytics within actuarial or consulting environments
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
