Role type

Client-facing P&C actuarial consultant

Closer to client-facing consulting than an internal modelling role because requirements gathering and practical delivery sit alongside technical analysis.

Entry-level P&C actuarial consulting role in Atlanta, with New York City and Chicago listed as primary preferred locations. You will support client projects across pricing, reserving, capital modeling, actuarial modernization, automation, and AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with actuaries, engineers, and data scientists.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • 1+ years of actuarial experience
  • Minimum of 3 passed actuarial exams
  • Commitment to pursuing CAS actuarial credentials

Strongly preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience utilizing AI technologies for modeling and analytics

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Python, R, or SQL
