Client-facing P&C actuarial consultant

Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role—the deciding factor is direct client delivery across varied projects.

Associate P&C actuarial consulting role in Boston, with New York and Chicago also preferred. You’ll support client projects spanning pricing, reserving, capital modeling, actuarial modernization, and AI-enabled workflows, while working with multidisciplinary teams and complex data.

Requirements

Must have

  • 1+ years of actuarial experience
  • Minimum of 3 passed actuarial exams

Strongly preferred

  • BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Commitment to pursuing CAS actuarial credentials
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with AI technologies for modeling and analytics

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
