Closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house pricing specialist because visibility, project leadership, and strategic advisory work span multiple client engagements.
Senior-level Health actuarial consulting role in Atlanta, focused on Medicare Advantage pricing, bid development, product design, and experience studies. As a Senior Principal, you will lead client teams, advise insurers and health systems, and support strategic projects involving MA/PD products. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in a local office or at client sites.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- At or near-FSA designation
- 10+ years of actuarial experience
- Experience in Medicare Advantage bid development
- Track record of and desire for rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and direct junior staff on client projects and intellectual capital development
- Understanding of the value of collaboration and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
- Experience communicating results and impact to clients or senior management
- Highly motivated and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
- Strong skills with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, VBA or other programming languages
