Principal-level P&C actuarial consulting role based in Charlotte, with hybrid options from several eastern U.S. offices. You will lead complex client engagements, oversee portfolios, support business development, and advise on pricing, reserving, and capital modeling while modernizing delivery with analytics and AI.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
15+ years of actuarial consulting or insurance industry experience within Property & Casualty
Proven business development experience, including generating new opportunities and expanding client relationships
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading complex engagements with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence diverse audiences
Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or advanced analytics within actuarial or consulting environments as well as knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
ACAS or FCAS credential
