Director-level Health actuarial consulting role in Mercer's Actuarial and Financial Consulting team, available from US office locations. You will lead employer health benefits engagements covering financial projections, plan design, renewals, underwriting analysis, and client recommendations while guiding junior staff. The role is hybrid, with at least three office days weekly.

Requirements

Must have

  • 10+ years actuarial field experience with health and benefits consulting
  • Proven progress toward ASA designation
  • BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
  • Client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience in health benefits actuarial consulting
  • ASA credential
