JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support ALM-focused investment policy and portfolio strategy for Japanese-domiciled portfolios
- Develop analytics, quantitative reporting, and senior management presentations
- Evaluate hedging, foreign currency, and new asset class opportunities
- Build complex Excel models and work with Python/R, Power BI, Tableau
- Hybrid Newark role reporting to Head of Japan Operations Portfolio Management
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Portfolio management or investment analysis within financial services
- Asset-liability management and portfolio construction
- Foreign currency and risk-hedging execution
- Develop complex data models in Excel
- Experience with US and global capital markets
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of portfolio management or investment analysis experience
- BS/BA in a quantitative field or demonstrated proficiency
- High technical skills; develop complex Excel models
- Experience with Python or R and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Understanding of US and global capital markets
