Closer to a pricing-underwriting partnership than a data-science crossover because the analysis is explicitly converted into insurance pricing recommendations.

Senior P&C pricing and analytics role in State Farm’s Sharing Economy team, based in Bloomington, Illinois, with other office options available. You’ll turn platform and insurance data into pricing recommendations, loss analyses, actuarial indications, and trend monitoring while partnering with Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Loss Reserves. The hybrid arrangement requires at least two office days weekly, increasing to three in 2027.

Requirements

Must have

Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (employer will not sponsor)

Strongly preferred

2+ years experience with a gig or sharing economy company
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, or related analytical field
Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams
Commitment to earn/maintain Continuing Education for ACAS/FCAS designation
