Closer to a pricing-underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC role because live business decisions and profitability discussions are central to the position.

Senior Health actuarial pricing role with Zurich North America, supporting Accident & Health products including Supplemental Health and Accident products. You will lead pricing, rate filing development, product enhancements, profitability discussions, and underwriting support from a hybrid office location in Chicago or other listed offices.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or equivalent (Zurich Apprentice + Associates)
At least 5 years of actuarial experience (10 years if not FCAS/FSA)
FCAS, FSA, ACAS, or ASA certification

Nice to have

Experience in Accident & Health product development, pricing, filing, and monitoring
Team leadership experience and desire to lead
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical analysis results to non-technical audiences
Collaboration experience on cross-functional team projects
Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or statistical analysis software and dashboard development
Ability to effectively communicate and partner with the business
