Role Summary

Role type

Capital and enterprise risk strategist

Closer to capital/risk strategy than reserving/reporting: enterprise target-setting and capital decisions outweigh recurring valuation-cycle delivery.

Senior P&C actuarial role in Nationwide’s Capital Forecasting team within Enterprise Risk Management, available fully remote across the lower 48 U.S. states. You will help build a capital performance framework linking pricing, reserving, underwriting results, target returns, and capital deployment decisions. The role requires an FCAS or comparable designation and typically eight or more years of experience.

  • Strong strategic judgment, executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
