Closer to client-facing consulting than an internal pricing specialist because engagement strategy, day-to-day client contact and proposal support are explicit.
Senior Health actuarial consulting role in Marsh’s Government Healthcare Consulting team in Phoenix, Arizona. You’ll support Medicaid clients through financial evaluations, plan design, pricing and capitated rate work, while managing engagements, reviewing analyses and guiding junior staff. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in a local office or onsite with clients.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years health actuarial experience
- 3+ years Medicaid leadership actuarial experience
- Ability to handle client and project management in a demanding work environment
Nice to have
- Medicaid actuarial experience spanning multiple states, programs, health insurers, or Federal agencies
- Actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, or MAAA)
- Experience related to health plan analysis or capitated rate development
- Actuarial consulting experience
