Client-facing health consulting

A client-facing consulting role rather than an internal pricing partner—the deciding factor is multi-client engagement ownership and recommendations.

Senior Health actuarial consulting role in Seattle, Washington, focused on employer health benefits strategy. You will lead client engagements involving financial projections, plan design, pricing, benchmarking, and renewal negotiations while guiding junior staff. The hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an actuarial field
  • Health and benefits consulting experience
  • Work in office at least 3 days per week

Strongly preferred

  • Proven progress toward ASA designation
  • Client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • Experience in health benefits actuarial consulting
  • Strong programming skills in R and Python for data manipulation and actuarial/financial modeling
  • ASA credentialed
