Senior Health actuarial consulting role in Portland, Oregon, focused on employer health benefits strategies. You’ll lead client engagements covering financial projections, plan design, underwriting, and renewal negotiations while guiding junior staff. The hybrid role requires at least three office days per week.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an actuarial field
  • Health and benefits consulting experience
  • Work in office at least 3 days per week (hybrid)

Strongly preferred

  • Proven progress toward ASA designation
  • Client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • ASA credentialed
  • Programming skills in R and Python for data manipulation, actuarial/financial modeling, and process automation
