Senior Health Actuary Consultant role with Mercer’s Health Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in Atlanta, Georgia. You’ll lead employer health benefits engagements covering financial projections, plan design, underwriting support, benchmarking, and renewal negotiations while advising clients and guiding junior staff. The hybrid schedule requires at least three office days per week.
Requirements
Must have
- BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of actuarial experience with health and benefits consulting
- Proven progress to obtaining ASA designation
- Client facing experience
- Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strongly preferred
- Experience in health benefits actuarial consulting
- Strong programming skills in R and Python with experience in reusable code for data manipulation, modeling, and automation
Nice to have
- ASA credentialed
