HIGHLIGHTS

  • Assist with data calls, market monitoring, and legislative impact analysis
  • Journey-level actuarial role in the Life and Health Actuarial Office in Austin, TX
  • Position expects attainment of SOA associateship within a defined period

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Experience in life and health insurance
  • Six months' actuarial field experience
  • Knowledge of loss reserving and pricing methods
  • Experience with actuarial review of rate filings

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field required
  • Expected to achieve SOA associateship (ASA) within six years of employment
  • Must list professional exams passed toward SOA associateship on application
  • Must be eligible to work in the US; agency does not sponsor employment visas
  • Regular work attendance and ability to meet deadlines
