  • Regulatory role in the Financial Regulation Division based in Austin, TX
  • Hybrid-eligible position; must maintain a secure home workspace and attend virtual meetings
  • Actuary III: min 3 years; Actuary IV: min 4 years and ASA/FSA with AAA membership

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • actuarial examinations of health insurers
  • reserving and solvency regulation experience
  • audit/review of actuarial opinions and reports
  • knowledge of regulatory requirements for life and health insurance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college required
  • Actuary III: minimum 3 years relevant actuarial experience
  • Actuary IV: minimum 4 years relevant actuarial experience and ASA or FSA with AAA membership
  • Ability to interpret insurance laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
