Role type

Value-based care strategy and economics

Closer to capital and risk strategy than a standard pricing partner role because it spans contract economics, risk adjustment, quality, and executive VBC decisions.

Executive-level Health actuarial role in Vori Health’s value-based care analytics and medical economics function, fully remote from the US or Canada. You’ll lead risk adjustment, cost and quality analytics, design models for value-based contracts, advise payor clients, and communicate financial insights to executives and external partners.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Credentialed actuary (FSA, ASA, or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience in healthcare analytics and medical economics
  • Proven experience in value-based care models and strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems
  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada

Strongly preferred

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including data visualization and statistical analysis tools

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred
