Pricing partner to underwriting and strategic partners

Closer to a commercial pricing partner than a modelling-heavy individual contributor because external negotiations and growth decisions are central to the mandate.

Executive P&C role based in Arizona with a remote-first home-teleworker arrangement. You will lead commercial auto pricing and data & analytics for mobility products, including rideshare, delivery, autonomous vehicles, telematics, and usage-based insurance. The role combines pricing strategy, predictive analytics, partner negotiations, and leadership of actuarial, data science, and analytics teams.

Requirements

Must have

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • 10+ years progressive experience in actuarial pricing, ideally commercial auto or P&C
  • 7+ years leading department or enterprise-wide large cross-functional programs, with 3+ years directly managing others
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
  • Deep understanding of mobility trends, commercial insurance economics, and growth levers
  • Mastery of pricing, ratemaking, and risk segmentation
  • Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, telematics, and machine learning applications
  • Ability to operate effectively in partner-driven, platform-based business models
  • Experience thriving in start-up or high-growth environments
  • Ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and partners
  • Experience supporting large-scale partnerships or embedded insurance models
  • FCAS or equivalent actuarial designation

  • Demonstrated success leading pricing strategy in data-rich environments (e.g., telematics, usage-based insurance)
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Science/Analytics)
  • Ability to create collaborative, inclusive environment
