JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead a 6–8 person actuarial pricing team for Travel, Lenders and Consumer Warranty products
  • Price large, customized deals in partnership with underwriters
  • Develop predictive models and actuarial data products for complex portfolios
  • Drive product design and filing strategy for specialty insurance offerings
  • VP-level role with senior leadership exposure (present to CEO), based in NYC (hybrid)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Specialty insurance (Travel, Lenders, Consumer Warranties)
  • Large-deal pricing and structuring
  • Predictive modeling and econometric analysis
  • Product development and insurance filings
  • Leading and developing actuarial teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant, broad industry experience in specialty insurance
  • Proven leadership managing and developing actuarial teams
  • Advanced actuarial theory, data and predictive modelling skills
  • Experience pricing large, bespoke insurance deals
  • Strong business acumen and superior communication skills
