Closer to a structured student development programme than a specialist pricing role because two planned rotations broaden exposure across actuarial disciplines.

Associate-level P&C pricing role in Liberty Mutual’s Boston-based Actuarial Development Program. You’ll lead actuarial work for newly launched Pet Insurance products, including rate indications, filing support, rate strategies, profitability analysis, and cross-functional recommendations. The role is rotational, with two rotations across pricing, reserving, modelling, and analytics.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum of 2 CAS exams passed (MAS I, MAS II, Exam 5, Exam 6)
Commitment to pursuing ACAS/FCAS designation
2-4 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field

Strongly preferred

Intermediate MS Office Excel and SAS skills
Basic actuarial techniques and standards knowledge
Solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Ability to balance multiple projects with some direction

Nice to have

Programming skills are desirable
