HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level life actuarial role on the Enterprise Actuarial Governance team. You will lead enterprise-wide assumption reviews, challenger models, and strengthen assumption governance across life products. Role is hybrid (4 days onsite) in Newport Beach, Omaha, or Charlotte and reports to the VP Actuarial & Appointed Actuary.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead enterprise biometric and policyholder behavior assumption reviews
  • Drive assumption governance, monitoring, and challenger model development
  • Work across lines/products globally within a Life actuarial context
  • Hybrid role — 4 days in office, 1 day remote (office locations include Charlotte)
  • Director-level role requiring FSA or equivalent and 7+ years actuarial experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Assumption setting and experience study methodologies
  • Predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI
  • Embedded Value and international reserving practices

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience
  • FSA or equivalent designation required
  • Expertise in assumption setting and experience study methodologies
  • Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or AI
  • Ability to present complex analyses to senior management
