Director-level Life and annuity enterprise reinsurance role in Omaha, Nebraska, with options in Newport Beach or Charlotte. You will lead reinsurance structuring, negotiations, transaction analysis, captive oversight, and financial reporting while partnering with executives, reinsurers, and internal functions. The role is hybrid, with four days on-site and one day remote each week.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Career Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
10+ years of life insurance, annuity, and/or reinsurance experience
Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to work with different stakeholder groups
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to tailor approach to different audiences
Strategic, technical, and analytical mindset
Effective project management skills with ability to move several projects forward in parallel
Ability to lead multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with thoughtful prioritization and effective execution
