Role Summary
Managing Actuary role at a large health insurer in Chicago, IL. You will lead development, implementation, and review of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, forecasting and other health actuarial functions. The role expects an ASA (MAAA) with at least 4 years of health actuarial experience and is a hybrid position (3 days/week in office).
Key Requirements
- ASA credential and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- At least 4 years of actuarial experience in health insurance or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Word and Excel; Access/SQL/VBA preferred
