Role type

Specialist in a large carrier environment

Closer to a big-carrier specialist than an underwriting partner—the ad stresses internal recommendations and cross-organization support, not live deal negotiation.

Senior P&C actuarial pricing and rating role in Tempe, Arizona, supporting personal auto and homeowners business. You’ll develop statistical models and actuarial recommendations, address business problems, and work with internal partners and leadership. The hybrid schedule requires at least two office days weekly, increasing to three in 2027.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical field
  • Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams
  • Intention to earn or maintain ACAS/FCAS designation
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; no sponsorship
  • Hybrid work: in office minimum 2 days/week, moving to 3 days/week in 2027

Strongly preferred

  • ACAS designation
