Closer to a live-business pricing partner than a pure modelling role, because recommendations are developed with underwriting and product stakeholders around emerging platform trends.
Senior P&C actuarial role in State Farm’s Sharing Economy team, based in Atlanta/Dunwoody with a hybrid schedule. You’ll translate platform data into pricing recommendations, support profitable growth, and partner with Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Loss Reserve on personal auto and specialty insurance needs.
Requirements
Must have
- At least 2 years of experience working with or for a gig or sharing economy company
- Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams
- Must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately; no sponsorship available
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or other analytical field
- Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
- Commitment to earn and/or maintain Continuing Education for ACAS/FCAS designation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Nice to have
- ACAS designation preferred
