Summer Life/Health actuarial internship in Richardson, Texas, with a hybrid schedule. You’ll analyze insurance product risk and financial needs, research industry trends, and help develop pricing methods and applications. The role is designed for students pursuing the ASA/FSA pathway and includes training, mentoring, leadership opportunities, and exam-based pay increases.

Requirements

Must have

  • 3.25 minimum GPA required
  • Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the internship
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; no sponsorship
  • Must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the internship

Strongly preferred

  • Majors in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical fields
  • 3.5 GPA preferred
  • Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
  • Intention to earn the ASA/FSA designation
  • Successful completion of at least one Society of Actuaries actuarial exam
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and critical thinking skills
  • Available for entire summer internship (6/2/2027 – 8/11/2027) with minimal disruptions
