Summer Life/Health actuarial internship in Richardson, Texas, with a hybrid schedule. You’ll analyze insurance product risk and financial needs, research industry trends, and help develop pricing methods and applications. The role is designed for students pursuing the ASA/FSA pathway and includes training, mentoring, leadership opportunities, and exam-based pay increases.

Requirements

Must have

3.25 minimum GPA required
Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the internship
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; no sponsorship
Must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the internship

Strongly preferred

Majors in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical fields
3.5 GPA preferred
Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
Intention to earn the ASA/FSA designation
Successful completion of at least one Society of Actuaries actuarial exam
Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Available for entire summer internship (6/2/2027 – 8/11/2027) with minimal disruptions
