Life actuarial summer internship in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, supporting pricing and product work for new and in-force insurance business. You’ll perform rate setting, data analysis, profitability projections, spreadsheet development, and actuarial model review while gaining structured exposure across the organization.

Requirements

Must have

  • Criminal background check

Strongly preferred

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance
  • High level of mathematical ability, including calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics, and numerical analysis
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet experience
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Commitment to company shared values

Nice to have

  • Successful completion of at least 1 SOA exam
  • Basic understanding of insurance
  • Experience with SQL or SAS
